The fall is located approx 1.5 Kms from the last parking spot.

The journey is quite beautiful, although quite tiring as one has to climb down and up. We climbed down several steps before reaching the waterfall. The efforts however were quite worth as the waterfall was too good. People were enjoying getting wet below the waters. Quite photogenic.

Journey back also was quite tiring but full of nature.

Highly recommended spot.

Come here early in the day as the number of entry tickets issued per day is limited. Also , best to arrive early and leave before maximum crowds reach here. One needs to climb down a bit to reach the waterfall. So conserve your energy for the way back up. Also, the entry ticket needs to be paid in cash and they expect exact change.

We visited this place on sunday at around 12:30 and the entry was closed since 1200 people reached there already. If you’re planning on a holiday plan it sooner or plan it on a weekday

PLEASE NEVER EVER VISIT THIS FALLS. THE MISLEADING GUIDES OF TOURIST AND FOREST DEPARTMENT ABOUT THE DISTANCE AS 1 KM. IT IS ACTUALLY MORE THAN 5 KILOMETERES WITH FULL OF UPS AND DOWNS. OLD AGE PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WITH HEART ISSUES, PLEASE , I REPEAT DO NOT VISIT. BESIDES THE STAIRS NEAR THE FALLS ARE SO WORST AND DANGEROUS. ALL I WOULD LIKE TO SAY TO AVOID THIS FALLS. THERE ARE SO MANY MISLEADING ADS STATING ITS JUST 1 KM WALK AWAY. DO NOT BELIEVE.

These are beautiful waterfalls and my family really enjoyed them. However, my 75 year old mother in law could not make the trip down. She gave up half way. I'm very glad that she did not walk all the way down because it would have been extremely difficult for her to climb back up. This hike down is NOT recommended for the elderly or toddlers.

With that said, it is a lovely hike down and the falls themselves are fun and refreshing. Bring a change of clothes if you plan to get into the water which most people do.

Beautiful falls, the water flow was so strong and a strong flow. Once at the falls you can have a dip in the water . It’s clean and fresh water. Only problem is the route to the falls which is by walk 1 Km but it takes about 45 mins one way as the road is steep and steps are too big. Older people or unfit people would find it difficult and tiring. Better to go after the rainy season so that the falls is not dry.

After having traveled 35 kms in winding hill roads, and just two kilometers before I reached the waterfalls, I was told that its closed due to road maintenance. Really? Why couldnt this be published at Kalpetta or Meppadi? That too it was informed by local Jeep people who take you to the glass bridge. No notice board by govt whatsoever. Deeply disappointed by Kerala govt for the non-information and for putting us to severe inconvenience.
