Beautiful trip and definitely worth giving it a shot..
Best ever trek in kalpetta region. Started around 5 and reached chembra around 5:30 just to make sure we get the slots to trek since the trek will be providing slots only for 200 people. Good place to meet outsiders and join them for a group trek. Trek experience was great and we found few snakes and salamanders on our way up. Definetely worth giving a try in the wayanad!! Key points: 1. Carry sanitizer for leeches. 2. Carry first aid like band aids or something since the path is too slippery. 3. Carry water and snacks as there would be no stalls up the trek.

    Stunning views!
This place is so incredible! Stunning views, so scenic. We enjoyed a 1 hour walk, we walked until the watchtower and that was a good amount of walking for my young kids and elderly mother in law. Be warned that there are many monkeys around who will hound you for food - they were not aggressive but they definitely came close. The views are amazing, we felt fortunate to see such beauty in India.

    Mesmerizing trek
It's a beautiful and perfect trekking spot in Wayanad. It's a must visit place for all trek lovers. They allow only 200 people in a day so you have to be there before 5am as the tokens get sold very fast. The trek starts around 7am.The trek is not an easy one, it's a moderate difficult trek. Also there are guides to help you throughout the trek. The view from the Peak is just fantabulous.. Worth every difficulty you faced while climbing. The heart shaped lake is so beautiful to watch. The mountain is covered in grass and so lovely to watch. The picturesque view from the mountain is mesmerizing. You get to see different shades of the sky while trekking. Do visit if you enjoy trekking.. It's a trek spot and not a sight seeing spot...

While we did not go up the peak the walk to the View Point is easy and has some of the most scenic views which only the eye can capture.

It is most certainly a good trek for the young trekkers. It goes require very good fitness. It is surely not meant for first timers above certain age (45±) because except the first 1km to the tower, the rest 2kms are very steep making it very hard to climb. It is filled with leeches, so wear proper shoes and clothes. It also usually slippery, so climbing down is also a challenge. The trek is a total of 6kms two way, takes about 4 hours. The view on top definitely feels like heaven. If you are one of those who enjoy trekking experience, then this is your go to place.
