it must be good. But trek is forbidden since Feb, 2017. Please check once before you plan for this. Chembra peak as well as heart shape lake both are closed site since then. We were disappointed.

Chembra is the highest peak in Wayanad, Chembra is 8 km far from kalpetta. Permission from the forest office in Meppadi is required for trekking up to Chembra Peak and they are going to charge 750 per vehicle, you can trek up to the heart...More

Hi Jitten, No, the chembra peak is closed for last 4 months. However, if you want to experience nature you can take a jeep from Meppadi which will take you to foothill of chembra. Cheers, Gunjan
