The Barra Velha beach is not to far from the town of Soure. You can walk on the main beach in the low tide hours or walk over the pathway in the high tide hours. I did the pathway even with the tide low, because...More

There is a nice suspended track made for motorbikes that ends on the beach. It also makes a very good walk. If you go early in the morning you will find the beautiful red guarás (a local bird).

Less people makes this a lovely quiet option. We cycled for miles along, watching the wildlife and wallowing in the shallow waters (watch out for Rays). There is excellent fresh fish at some of the barracas and cheap strong caipirinhas.

A stunning beach with plenty of room - the day we went it was just us, the fishermen and one or two other tourists. Plenty of birds to be seen. Some simple places to eat and drink there.

Creio que não haja pousadas na beira, pois a praia é bem rústica e um pouco afastada no ponto das barracas. Energia elétrica deve haver pois algumas barracas tem som mecânico tocando.
