Great place to stop off, tour the Wat and get a view of the city
Sep 2019
Some days this gets swamped with tourists and other days peaceful. It is a nice temple on top of the mountain overlooking Pattaya. I live Khao Phratamnak and have the fortune to listed to the Monks chanting on all the Buddhist holidays. I think there are some good photographic opportunities here. At minimum, a view of the city and surrounding area. Depends on what attracts you are what you like.

Spectacular views Pattaya
May 2019 • Couples
Prince of Jumborn tribute. Best known for his contribution and development of the Royal Thai Navy. The views of Pattaya city including the beach are spectacular. Lots of beautiful flowers and statues. Just prior to 6pm they let of fireworks which gave everyone a shock. A whistle was blown a few minutes later for s minutes silence as a mark I'd respect at 6pm. lots of tourists here. There is parking along the path to the top. There's also a restaurant if you like to eat. Views are incredible there. Well worth a visit.

Excellent viewing point over Pattaya
Mar 2019 • Family
Definitely worth a visit in the late evening when it's already dark. You can see the lights over whole Pattaya and the harbor. All the lights of the ships and restaurant boats out on the sea. Lots of Chinese tourists

Vantage Point
Mar 2019 • Couples
Thanks to reading some TA reviews we went armed with mosquito repellent - you certainly need it! The views are stunning but it was very busy with Chinese Tourists - this didn't detract us from us enjoying the scenery(whoops). There are some important landmarks to observe such as the temple and the Naval Admiral statue. A great place to see the sun going down.

Jogging up here
Mar 2019 • Solo
It’s a great place for a morning or evening walk. It gets very warm and you might like some mosquito spray. It’s free and it’s good for about an hour, there is parking and it’s also good for a bike ride.

Top spot for sunset
Sep 2018 • Couples
Easy to walk up, otherwise accessible by car or motorbike, this hilltop has some of the best views over city of Pattaya. There’s few places to visit while on top, open air coffee shop has some nice seating area to watch panorama or sunset over the bay. Bring plenty of mosquito repellent, there’s plenty of them out there.

Good view

You can see the super view of Pattaya at here. Good atmosphere and you can take relaxing time in a park. There are important statute and temple here too. Someone said you can ask for something good and come back again here to light the fireworks 💥

Great views of Pattaya
Sep 2017 • Solo
Pratumak hill is a main tourist spot with coach loads of Chinese tourists so go early to avoid the crowds .
At the top there is a naval radio station , a statue of admiral Krom luang jumdorn kej udomsakdi the " father " of the Royal Thai Navy .
The main reason to go is the view over Pattaya bay .
You can judge the state of the property market with lots of cranes moving in the boom times and abandoned concrete shells in the bad times .
The flotilla of speedboats taking tourists to Koh Larn look like the Dunkirk evacuation without the shooting and bombing .
Worth going for the view it's a steep walk up the hill !

Best high altitude view point to see pattaya from North to middle and south
May 2017 • Friends
This attraction is quite busy with tourists from dawn to dusk. It provides bird eyed view of whole pattaya beach from north to south at Balihai pier. We drove our car to the temple with luck that we got our park space easily. There is a statue of "Sadet Tia" father of Thai Navy overlooking Gulf of Thailand. There is also the mandapa of buddha's footprints. Nice place to take the picture of pattaya beach.
