Stunning contrast from the surrounding desert/scrub floor. Impressive walk across the bridge. The view to the south is awesome. Take the time to go a bit west and drive the gravel switchback road down to the river to the south.

After horseback riding at Cieneguilla Stables, the owner and guide recommended this amazing drive (around the back way) that took us all through the bottom of the Gorge along the Rio Grande then up to the plateau for an phenomenal view. Well recommended!

Incredible views and sheer vastness of the gorge and surrounding lands. The bridge will sway when 18 wheelers go by.
