Picked up near hotel ( We stayed in old Side near the ancient ruins).
We were last on the pick up so our family was split up, we could deal with that.Asked for our food options as we got on the bus for lunch later ( chicken, meatball, fish) we asked for chicken , meatballs and x2 vegetarian. Took 45 mins to an hour to get to the green canyon.
Got on boat , drinks are free except alcohol.Photograper comes round taking photos for you to buy later, no pressure though.
Big cruise all around the green canyon which is a hydro electric dam , the cruise is OK.
Everyone on the cruise pretty much smokes and lots of men were drinking , we felt sick , another child was throwing up , the music is really loud too. After the boat and a 10 mins bus trip takes you to the chaotic restaurant .No meatballs left , had chicken ( not a problem) No Veggie option- rice , plain spaghetti and salad ( you get that with the chicken anyway).
If you love smoking and a boat trip jolly and an OK lunch with free little paper cups of soft drinks , then go for it , to us it was not worth the money , we would definitely not do it again.

We were picked up from the Hydrapasha hotel to go on this trip with a company called together travel. Despite the initial part of the journey being approx 1hr 20 minutes this trip was well worth the wait. We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children and everyone had a great day, our tour guide was a guy called sugar and nothing was too much trouble. We only had 15 on our boat so plenty of room to relax, although I believe some operators pack there boats so check before booking. All in all a great day out!

Our group of 16 were the only ones on the boat ride. The trip is lovely when included on a tour, but I wouldn't do it on its own. Very quiet and peaceful when we were there due to the down turn in tourism. It looks like it could be a very busy place, though. Glad it wasn't. Was nice to just sun on the upper deck of the boat.

We took a small boat trip on the green lake. The water is really green and there is a small place where the boat stops so you can take a swim. Nice views!

Was arranged by the travel agency for visiting Green Lake. Bases on some houses are in the water and still can see some roofs, this is for sure a man-made lake. It's not a super tourist spot but you can take a look, take boat cruise a bit if you have sufficient time. But you won't miss anything if you are not going.

We had a good day on the Green lake. Nice water to swim in, and 2 "swim breaks" during the day. Okay lunch on a restaurant just by the lake. For some reason it was no Efes for sale, and I like a cold bear in the warm weather, so that was something we missed. Next time we`ll bring our own! :-) Because we are going here again, with some other friends!
