Nice relaxing lunch with a view. Service was OK (bit slow at the end), and food was good. Took a stroll through some of the shops - there is a nice free-trade women-empowered weaving store for more upmarket gifts.

i loved this concept. its a colourful venue which is used for events, weddings etc. if i lived in Swaziland this is where I want to host an event. theres a store with beautifully decorated paper machet and tin keepsakes. theres also a restaurant here.

House on Fire is known for many things, I have attended many weddings here, lol, I think three, I have come to the venue for Bush Fire which is a celebration of Swazi musicians that happens in May annually over four days and attracts thousands from across the continent. Today I am here to visit their restaurant and first off we ordered their bread, which is legendary and alas they had non available. The menu is limited to 5 mains, 4 desserts and 4 starters. It’s surprising but it could be a post Covid phenomenon. I would visit House if Fire anytime for any of their entertainment but would give Malandelas and it’s pub fare a miss.

We were a group of 9, which include 2 small children. The location was fantastic and beautifully done, the view was great. But the food and the restaurant service were a total disappointment. It took them more than 1 hour and the mix grill swazi menu that I had was tough and tasteless. The service was just slow and with non motivated staff but kind nevertheless. I asked for the bill and no one came, so I went to the counter to pay. I find it a pity that such a beautiful place has such a mediocre restaurant.

A nice little restaurant and bar, guest beer from around the world give you a little taste of home whilst abroad. Lovely

To manage a different weekend, we went to swaziland, lovely country! On our way we made a stop to visit House on Fire.
Great stop with the kids, nice modern decoration with plenty space for the kids to expand and run and have fun.
It's funny to pay attention to little details such as the mosaics, the inspirational sentences and images.
Stay there time enough to see and imagine it without kids at night ;)

Went on a Sunday when House on Fire main centre was closed, great to walk around, and the shop areas were open. Memories of Gaudi and Barcelona. Went mainly to have Sunday Lunch in the restaurant there. Roast Beef and Yorkshire puddings as well as Roast Lamb were on the menu with great starters and sweets. Would recommend both on food and on service

Had a great time. Nice for corporate events. Good food and nice people. Oh yes good golf as well. Not sure if family good idea.
