At the WAT Chalong it was serene and had beautiful architecture. The temple designs were stunning along with the different types of budha. An overall nice place to visit.

As Thai temples go this one is pretty average. Neither particularity historic nor ornate. However, it was relatively quiet for December, it was clean and tidy, the garden areas were lovely. If Phuket is your only stop in Thailand, then you should make the effort to go. If you are going on north then you can give it a pass!

The opulence and vibrant colours of the temple are magnificent, as is the view and make for plenty of... More

This was an absolutely beautiful temple! It's definitely worth visiting, and I found the statues of the elephants to be a distinctive feature. One notable sad aspect is the number of stray dogs, here and everywhere, especially at the temples. One particular dog was young, still teething, and had an especially sweet temperament. We observed her being bullied by the... More

I visited here whilst renting a moped on holiday. There are a number of ornate buildings to enter and photograph. A good amount of free parking, no entrance fee, lovely gardens to walk around.
