Description:

One of the late Eddie Hackett's last design projects, the Ring of Kerry...

One of the late Eddie Hackett's last design projects, the Ring of Kerry Golf Club is without doubt the most spectacular heathland golf course in Ireland. Overlooking beautiful Kenmare Bay, the golf course nestles between the towering MacGillycuddy Reeks and the Caha Mountains. Majesty alone of course does not make a great golf course. The scenery helps but it's the layout, stiff challenge and excellent greens that make Ring of Kerry Golf Club one of the finest golf courses in Ireland.

The "Ring" has to be one of the most scenic courses in Europe beautifully situated above the Kenmare River and overlooking the Caha Mountain range. Designed by Ireland's great architect, Eddie Hackett, the course, in addition to its challenging design has the finest greens I have played in recent years. As you will have gathered the golf course is well... More

I stopped for pizza on the way home from Kenmare (as the sign said it was open to everyone) , driving up to the clubhouse it was obvious to me that it is a lovely Golf course and that nobody was playing ! The bar restaurant was very pleasant as were the staff the food was good for the price... More

My 14 year old son & I played this tough & challenging course with terrific views of Kenmare Bay on 8/22/2016. The course was in amazing condition considering the amount of rain the day before. It drained really well. Tees, greens & fairways were in great condition. It's a tight & fairly long course. You really need to stay focused,... More

Sitting out overlooking Kenmare Bay with a fantastic plate of the freshest seafood . Anticipating an afternoon on a beautifully groomed course. What could be better ! And it only took me 50 mins to drive from Killarney via stunning Molls Gap.

The food here is absolutely incredible! I got the burger and I challenged myself to finish it all. It was huge! I give it 10/10 👌 I won't take any marks off for the cucumber (I hate cucumber!!). Kudos to Robert the chef and the lovely staff :) Oh and the view is even more amazing than the food!

Played here for my 3rd year in a row on 19th July. Very friendly staff, wonderful greeting when we arrived, course in great condition and some of the best views in Ireland can be seen as you meander your way through this course. It's a tough walk though and a buggy maybe advised. Can't wait to return again. Thank You... More

We played Ring Of Kerry today. Upon arrival we were greeted by two happy guys in the shop who could not do enough for us. The greens are simply the best we have played on our trip & with stunning views to match. We had lunch in the clubhouse afterwards & i can see why they won the best burger... More

What a beautiful course! Thankfully, the downpours finished just as I started my round and the rain didn't return until I was putting my clubs back into the car. The condition of the course was excellent, the greens were true and a reasonable speed given the soaking they had. As others have said, the views are lovely and I had... More
