Did a walk to Blue Lake and back from Charlotte Pass with my wife and our 8 month old. I found this one to be more challenging than a considerably longer walk to the top of Mt Kosciuszko, as this one has much more steep ups and downs along the way. The very first 500 m are especially challenging, as... More

Loved it in 2015 and thought we would try it again in the 2016 ski season. Still full of fun and old world charm. The dining room was great & we are going to try and visit again in 2017.

From the short walk to the Charlotte Pass lookout you can see beautiful snow gums, alpine flowers and a great view of Mt Kosciuszko in summer. For the very fit, you can do several long walks, one to the summit of Kosciuszko.

We visited here on the last weekend of May, we were staying in Thredbo and there wasn't a lot of snow so decided to drive to Charlottes Pass in hope for beautiful views and more snow, and wow. We were not disappointed, the drive there is beautiful and the closer you get the thicker the snow, at one point the... More

Just spent a week with the family at Charlotte Pass. It was perfect for a real get away. Limited phone and internet in a snowbound village so you can not be distracted on your holiday. Great snow, nice runs and really good for kids. Will go back as soon as I can.

A must do - buy a daytripper ticket from Perisher to travel by oversnow transport across to Charlotte Pass for the day. Great value - includes all lifts, lunch and return transport. Welcoming staff, especially the manager. Tuesday and Friday deals make it quite economical and better value than Thredbo or Perisher. Even if you don't ski or snow shoe,... More

Incredible place. Very family orientated and very safe. The over snow transport from Perisher is great. A remote and beatiful place. A week of enjoyment and relaxation that is very distinct.

3 cm of snow made for breathtaking views and heaps of fun playing in the snow. The valley is worth exploring with many 4 wheel drive vehicle and walking tracks. A must see destination. Highly recommended.

Obviously the snow season hasn't started, so nothing was open, but we had fun in the snow on the ground ( man made perhaps?!) Sledding and throwing snowballs.
