Memorial to Gurkhas
Dec 2019
This is a very unusual war memorial in that it was raised by the opposition in honour of those they fought against. The British raised this memorial as a part of respect for the fighting qualities of the Gurkhas.

Not a must-see, but worth a look if you heading that way.

Offbeat and picturesque
Mar 2019 • Friends
This is world's first memorial erected by army to pay respect to the opponents. The war memorial is on a hilltop and is surrounded by thick forest. Must visit for nature lovers and photographers. Not many tourists visit this place, making it offbeat and hidden. No entrance charges.

Its a beautiful park. One can have a peaceful time or can bring kids to play. Doesnt have swings so kids can bring their own play things. Has a historical significance. Must visit .

Hidden gem
Aug 2017 • Family
A trip to this monument is good in any season.A steep and ever narrowing ascent will lead you through a thick lush jungle .
It's very quiet up there and out of respect dor nature, please avoid making too much noise /playing loud music around here.
There's slight clearing jus before the final climb begins , you might want to leave your vehicle there before reaching there.
It's quite isolated Nd lonely there so do consider going thefe in a group instead of trudging there all by yourself.

There are two one at sahastradhara road and main at tapovan hill top

The sahastra dhara is like a mini garden,
the second one main is at toppavan, tibeta colony extreme ascend, lonely in between a bit of secluded forest,
go in group.

I would not suggest solo traveeller / solo / group women, as people drink at that palce and is very seculeded.

Good nice nature photos.
