Easily reachable from Dehradun and one can enjoy this place only if one enters into waters with one's company. There is an ordinary flowing river made to swim and enjoy at every step fall. One can enjoy here. But not recommended for sophisticated persons.

This was an unplanned visit. It looks this is not the season for tourists here now. I feel this when looking at some pictures from the web. Right now it is not well maintained and the children's park is not working now. Also water in the falls is very less. these are the reason for my guess. Hope those who wish to visit this place deferentially visit during tour season.

Overall the spot is good. We can see a Buddhist temple, sulfur spring, Drona cave. Near by this hill there is a children's small amusement park (Joyland) is situated. All these are on the bottom of the left side of the valley.

We can have top view from the right side of the valley. Cable car (Ropeway) service is available to go to the right side of the valley. They are charging Rs150/- for the rope way. This includes entry and few activities in the park. This small park includes small restaurant, DJ, mountain clamp(small), telescopic view, small ride for kids, Photo shoot & a Temple. This park is maintained well.

I have few photos. Right now I am unable to upload them. But uploading them later.

Really it was a different experience for me..

It is an interesting place with breath taking views of the Sahasradhara. On top we have plenty of scope to relax and children to play. Well maintained with lots and lots of colourful flowers. You can use the cable car to reach the top. There is a good restaurant on top with reasonably clean toilet facilities.

this place is 15 kms away from city, it is just a river with water till waste. Water is most of the times dirty and not worth taking a bath. They have some stall on the bank of the river they can provide you the facility of locker to keep clothes and you can try maggi, tea and pakoda. But there is nothing more than that, they also have a ropeway and a water park, and it is just futile to go to those places

Very poor condition, no natural beauty for the man made dam in the different site of the river and falls making this almost sahashra (Thousand) ponds. People are bathing in those man made pond in the waist deep or knee deep water with drinks and food. there are unsightly construction along the falls for accommodation and restaurant. All along the falls and river there are food stall. Sahashradhara has been murdered by unruly tourist and greedy businessman. It is painful to see the pollution of such a natural beauty.

This is one of the few places one can look forward to visit in Dehradun. The major attraction is the ropeway which ends up taking you at a significant height where they have set up a small garden with little attractions and great views of the mountains. This place will not offer much thrill and is good to visit with family and kids.
