We spend a day with Caro in Saint Emilion and it was awesome! Caro was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. We got to climb atop St Emilion's old tower to take in a 360 degree view of St Emilion, and wandered throughout the old town. It was beautiful! We did a couple of great wine tastings as... More

I would not wait until you are in the area ... I would make a trip especially just to go visit Chateau Feely in Saussignac (close to Bergerac) and then experience the area because you are there! Caro and Sean run a hands on exclusive vineyard and superb accomodation. A great place to get away alone for solitude, a romantic... More

Having read a couple of Caro Feely's books, and wanting to get a more thorough understanding of the St. Emillion and right bank wines, my wife and I decided to book the full day tour, and we were very happy we did. As many others have said Caro is both extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the whole world of wine... More

We spent two wonderful days with Caro Feeley, exploring Saussingac and the Chateau Feeley vineyard. Caro arranged the tours and accommodation including picking us up from the station. Caro is pretty awesome and a bit of a Wonder Woman ... She runs the vineyard , organises tours , runs the gites, write Books and is a mum. I was equally... More

We had a lovely half day at Chateau Feely. Caro is an excellent host, being both friendly and informative. The tour of her vineyard was very interesting. She explained the benefits of biodynamic principles and showed the genuine love of the land and of this region of France that she and her husband have. The tour was followed by a... More

We spent five great days at the Wine Cottage at Chateau Feely. This is a lovely place, surrounded by organic vineyards a short walk from the village of Saussignac. We had a wine tasting trip to St Emilion, walks to restaurants both from here and Monbazillac, and an interesting morning tasting Chateau Feely wine followed by a lovely lunch. Caro... More

My husband and I spent five days at Chateau Feely in the lovely restored "wine cottage" of Caro and Sean Feely. Every morning hot croissants, local organic yogurt, and fruit were delivered to our door. The wine cottage sits on hill overlooking the vineyards providing a beautiful and serene setting to start our day. The cottage has three rooms, including... More

We four Californians had been looking forward to time in St. Emilion, anticipating it to be a highlight of our two weeks in France. From the moment Caro met us at the top of the steep cobblestone road we ascended (there are easier ways) to meet her near the church, to our farewell some eight hours later, we were not... More

The visit to the vineyard was made by train from Bordeaux and we combined it--at their suggestion--with a visit to St. Emilion. While it made for a reasonably long day (8.05 train out and getting back to Bordeaux at just before 8 pm), it was certainly worth it--and we would recommend this combination and using the train, so you can...
