The donkeys were walking down the street as we arrived in the town and happily made their way to the pub front door. Both of them stood in the doorway and politely requested attention. Waited patiently for their brunch and allowed us to pat them...More

Great atmosphere, cold beer, good food. Staff could be friendlier, but worth it to visit an iconic location.

In winter not too many tourists, bar food is on all day. Staff friendly. Lots of quirky signs and memorabilia. Food was excellent. Parma for a farmer was worth supporting. If in the area you must call here for a cleansing ale or two!

Greeted by local donkeys. Food was fantastic, very generous, hot and tasty. Husband had burger with the lot. He said it was fantastic. Haven’t heard him say that for years.
