The railway is efficiently operated by enthusiast people who are all keen to help and provide information. There is an interesting number of narrow gauge steam locomotives coupled with a large number of internal combustion units. Very interesting to the enthusiast.

We enjoyed our trip on Saturday afternoon, and it was my Grand daughters (aged 3) first experience of travelling on a train. The sun shone, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. Looking forward to when the line is extended. Good value also.

Cafe served good selection of sandwiches, baked potatoes, cakes, coffees, teas, soft drinks and ice creams. Dogs aren't allowed in the cafe, shame if...More

Thank you for your feedback. The café is run by an external franchisee rather than directly by the railway, hence the different rules on allowing dogs, but I will pass your comments on to the team there. We look forward to welcoming you again soon.
