We were pleasantly surprised by this rail trip. Friendly volunteers are onboard to run the train. Great photo opportunity mid way through journey. We loved the smell of coal and the pit stop at Stonehenge. Go on and treat yourself!

We recently attended their Paddington Bear day, it was such a nice atmosphere and we as a family enjoyed it very much, lovely for children or all ages, and Grandparents too, engines are beautiful and staff very helpful and family friendly,

Wow, saw this place many years ago when it was no more than a miniature railway in the park! What a change🚂! Ride through the suburbs, through fields and a wild flower meadow. Small museum commemorating the sand miners-but definitely not from "Dune"!

What a brilliant day I had. From 09.00am if it could be ridden or driven an eclectic range of all ages sizes and types of vehicles turned up. The parking and layout of the event was very well organised. The return train ride between Pages...More

This little train is an excellent way of passing a couple of hours and the prices are very reasonable. Run entirely by volunteers, the journey from one end of the line to the other takes about 25 minutes, with a 25 minute stop at the...More

Parking at Pages Park is excellent and access to the trains is through a modern well-equipped building - with plenty of railway souvenirs on sale. The engine shed is fascinating with a number of clearly presented panels - not too techie and not too simplistic....More

Visited this today and can honestly say that our trip was excellent. The staff were friendly ensuring that we made the most of the experience. Lots of improvements have been made since last year. The only downside is the cafe which has been taken over...More

I last travelled on this little line over 40 years ago and remember very little about it. Recently revisited it and found that it was quite easy to park at, a short walk to the booking office and straight on to the platform at Pages...More

We visited on Sunday 7th May and had a lovely time. The new entrance is most impressive and there is ample parking in the council car park (disabled spaces in front of the new building). We went behind Beaudesert (diesel) as a volunteer had not...More

Yes you can and they're dog friendly. From their website: "Well behaved dogs are welcome on our trains, as well as assistance dogs, and they travel free of charge. A bowl of water is usually available for our four-legged... More
