This place is free is very close to the citadel. the Exhibition at the moment is czech but the non violence art presentation is somewhat more interesting. Just my personal taste i guess. They have a nice area for the children downstairs. You can watch some old tv advertisement which is quite interesting.

We enjoyed our visit to the Lanskrona Museum. There is a little of something for everyone. There was a large photo exhibit on when we were there. We spent most of our visit in the history of Landskrona section. They also have a nice gift shop with interesting items to buy at all price levels.

For a city as old as Landskrona, looking at old photographs was a rather boring experience.
There was nothing in there that made me say WOW!

I did not enjoy the visit to this museum at all, since there were no english descriptions, no indicators of where to go. Half of the building was under a construction and most of the rooms were empty. However I really loved the fika in the museum's café - green tea altogether with the coconut ball for 20 SEK? Yes please! No admission fee, so worth a peek.

This was once one of the best museums in a smalltown of Sweden. However, the big permanent exhibition they had with all sorts of old shops from the town are gone. Nowadays it's mostly art and other strange things. And they had an open kindergarten at the top floor but it's also gone. The museum went from a big five to a weak three.

the museum has no entrance fee and is well worth visiting with its many exhibitions. Some are historical, for instance, a very interesting one on handmade items, prepared for a trousseau - but never used. Others are on the city development and the region. Several rooms had exhibitions featuring contemporary photography.

I went back to this interesting museum twice while visiting friends/family in Landskrona.
One room leads to another with interesting surprises all along the way.
