Well thought out reserve for visitors with attractions for the visitor with little time to those who want to do the 4x4 trails or go hiking. The quiver trees are stunning and the landscape is beautiful.

This is a jewel within minutes of the town of Springbok. We arrived in late afternoon, with about 2 hours to explore before the gates closed. The staff at reception were exceedingly friendly and helpful, explaining in detail what we could do in the short...More

We visited Goegap in search of wild flowers, but conditions were not quite right. Nevertheless we enjoyed the drive around the reserve, regretting only that we had not come in the 4x4. Sedans are restricted in where they can go in the park.

The spring flowers are famous, but this is a great place all year round, with many photogenic aloes and a great landscape. You can wander around the aloe gardens to see the succulents. There's a nice drive. Would be a good place to stay and...More

I would definitely recommend a visit. The reserve is very near to Springbok, and costs very little to get in. In the flower season I am sure it is truly stunning. We were there just prior, and even with the flowers only beginning I was...More

Good location between Cape Town and Fish river canyon. Very good service as we were running late and the lady at the gate waited a while for us to arrive. Nothing to see wildlife wise but a perfect stop off

This is really a stunning reserve that deserves to be seen, with plentiful bird and antelope life. Entrance fees are very low. We could see there is accommodation here too, although we didn't stay in it. The visitor area is very well done, with a...More

My wife and I spent the day in the Goegap Nature Reserve in mid-October 2017. We weren't expecting many flowers as the rains hadn't arrived, however the area of Namaqua Land is so much more than just the hoped-for annual spring flower show. We did...More
