You could imagine a piece of the earth just broken into two rock walls, surrounded by a forest of Araucaria trees, waterfalls, a river deep in the valley, birds singing, the wind blowing so strong. The air is so fresh you can feel dizzy because you are not used to feel such a fresh air. Amazing...there you can feel the... More

Checa your time, Cotovelo trail could use 2 hour or more. It will be 6 km at all. After, you try the vértice trail, there are 3 stops for great pictures with a waterfall and the canion behind you. The attraction cost is R$8 for Brazililians and R$18 for foreigners. You can go by car, But ensure a half day... More

The Itaimbezinho canyon is, probably, the most famous of the region. Not by chance. It is really spectacular and "a must" visit when you are in Cambará do Sul. Dirt road to get there, but no big issues if you drive slowly. If you wish, there are many options of sightseeing tours to hire at town. Be aware that a... More

The views of Itaibezinho Canion is something unforgettable. There is a nice infrastructure to attend the tourist. The trail to reach the Canion is very clean and easy. From Cambará do Sul downtown until the park is about 18km far. It is dirty road that takes around 40 minutes to arrive in the park.

Great cliffs, views and an easy walk. You may have to wait or even come back another day depending on the specifics of local weather conditions.

I visited the park under heavy rain, so it was impossible to follow the trails into the park. We only went to see the Itaimbezinho trail, and the Fortaleza. Even though weather conditions were not ideal we had the occasion to see the fog coming on and going away, so seeing two or three rainfalls coming out of the misty... More

Cannyon da Fortaleza, at the Parte Nacional dos Aparados da Serra, along with his brother Cannyon do Itaimbezinho are some if the greatest nature artwork. Not very near to small Cambará town, and seems more far due to the terrible road to access. However, in the past 20 years, I've been visiting the place several times. Drive with patience, have...
