I'm not sure which of the towns on Goa's coast are the most unattractive- here there is some semblance of order in the grid system of the centre of the town. The market is the beating heart- lively & thriving colourful & not too malodorous. We popped in to pick up some flowers for a funeral & were pleasantly surprised by the quality & the price. The Funeral ground is in an amazing location- on a cliff over looking the sea towards the Airport. What a view. Beware of what dwells within the cracks in the pavements in all markets in India!
