I had been here before and was very pleased to see that the church remains in excellent condition and as fascinating as ever with its surrounding of embossed figures

I saw this church highlighted in my road atlas, also reference was made to a castle (ruins of). The church is very attractive, well cared for and in regular use. The chancel is semi-circular and appears to be a later addition. The site of the...More

A must see. Stunning church. Carvings of the Hereford school are remarkably well preserved, so much detail to see. So glad I did not miss this church.

A church with Celtic carvings and other items of interest, next to a very ruined Castle. Said to have been built in the 12th century, many parts of the church look a lot older. A fascinating place in beautiful surroundings.

A very small church but some interesting features and loads of history. Quite close to the Kilpeck Inn and well worth a visit

This is a truly unique church and well worth a visit. The row of corbels is fascinating and I'd love to know what each figure symbolised. They include a world famous sheela na gig (also of interest to PJ Harvey fans) and there are lots...More

Incredibly interesting and beautiful. Quiet unique. My only worry is that I have seen the doorway sculptures, in particular, deteriorate over the past 50 years. Porches are great protectors and the Kilpeck one was removed some time ago, not sure when. I believe and hope...More

Superb - simply superb! For anyone interested in Church history including pagan stories, how to communicate stories to folk unable to read or write - this is the place. There is a lovely 'Children's guide' for older junior children and those 'young at heart' which...More

Very beautiful, a local lady gave us a talk on some of the features. Although I feel that you can walk around and in the church for all of 20/30 minutes. The mound behind does have stunning views of the Brecon beacons
