This was an optional extra cruise excursion about 30 minutes across the island from the cruise port by local safari bus. Some lovely vistas on the way there but also the still very obvious signs of damage to buildings and homes from 2017 hurricanes.
The beach is beautiful although the fact that there is both a bathroom facilities and a lifeguard takes away some of the untouched charm.
