My visit here was fun, enjoyable and great for my fitness. It was a nice way to get introduce to the town of Soriano. The only not so cool part, other than the heat, was climbing the hills, whew!.

Atop a hill overlooking Soriano nel Cimini is the medieval castle Castello Orsini-interesting history dating back to 1278. All displays are in Italian with no English translation. A few rooms with artifacts with little explanation. Amazing views!

Only open at weekends, however really worth a visit. It really pays to listen to the history and a visit to the museum of music is amazing. Mario's personal collection is outstanding.

Impressive castle, high atop Soriano nel Cimino. Unfortunately, it's only open on weekends, but do try to make time for it. Great views of the surrounding countryside. Former Papal residence. Unexpectedly, a music room/chapel that is simply amazing, with a curator who will captivate you...More
