“Cooking in Paradise on the Amalfi Coast”, July 7-14 2018, was outstanding ....absolutely the best vacation yet! The Villa Erema di San Francesco with its extraordinary views and infinity pool was a perfect home away from home. The group size of 17 was ideal. By...More
There are not enough words to truly convey how wonderful Culture Discovery Vacations are! It was the most amazing vacation of my life. I spent a week based in Radda in Chianti in Tuscany with lovely guides/hosts Ilaria and Linda. It was a perfect week...More
FANTASTIC! A group of people come together as strangers and leave as friends. The cooking, the sites.....everything is amazing. You never once feel pressured....the time feels your own and you feel you are living in a villa. The cooking classes were so much fun. Both...More

To explain the “Great as always” remark. This is our fourth vacation week with Culture Discovery. We have enjoyed Soriano (2013), Chianti and Borolo in the Piedmont area (2015), and now Bologna (2017). Each week was different in cuisine and culture; the most common thread...More
Culture Discovery vacations are a truly unique and special experience. You become friends with all of the folks that are a part of CDV.
It is for the most part a family and friends run operation that makes time with them special.

Hi Joanne, the tine spent in the bus really depends on the day. The biggest is Wednesday, because we make a 2 hour drive to the furthest point of the day, then slowly make our way back to home base. The Assisi day is roughly an hour each way. All of the bus tie is broken up with places and people we are visiting.
