The tonnara was somewhat interesting, though it lacked the kind of interpretive information we expected to see. The entrance fee seemed out of proportion to the destination. Still, for the close- up views of the faraglioni and the possibility to swim from the edge of the property, I might go back someday.

Need something that was walking distance from Scopello. Free chairs (after entrance free), Beautiful views.

The cost was €3,50 to enter. We went to swim in the beautiful clear cool water. We swam over to some stairs that rose out of the water, accessible only by boat or swimming to it. The stairs led up to the ruins of an old tower. Unfortunately there was a locked gated toward the top to prevent us from... More

Beautiful grounds, and fantastic views but unfriendly staff, uncomfortable beach area, too packed and a bit expensive for what you get (a spot on the on the concrete).

You would not even know it was here, it's a real jewel, the heritage and history was like a time traveller, so majestic

During our 5 days at Scopello we went to Tonnara di Scopello twice, one accessing it from land at the end of afternoon and during the day, as part of a boat tour. It is an amazing place, former tuna fishing centre, became a hotel and real nice swimming, snorkelling spot

Nice beach. It is private so we had to pay to join... stone beach with rocks but absolutely beautiful

Not sure how they justify 4 euros for access to this. Might make sense if you want to swim and sunbathe for a few hours. We expected to be able to explore the old tuna factory which looked interesting from the road above.

Yes this beach is lovely and maybe our visit was clouded by the fact it was a Saturday, so extremely packed, but we really didn't think it worth a visit. For a start you pay Eur 4 for the pleasure of visiting the beach. On the day we went there was absolutely nowhere to sit - it was already packed... More

We loved this small beach. Yes, it is crowded but not to the point where you can't breathe! The water is crystal clear, there are vending machines in the Tonnara selling drinks and ice creams (and, randomly, popcorn...). There are points from which you can dive into the water. Great view. Saw lots of people snorkeling so there must be... More
