This is the place to visit for views, wildlife, walks and the rainforest experience. The drive to O'Reillys is along narrow twisty and steep roads and can be a little tiresome but the destination makes it all worthwhile. If you enjoy walking then you'll be spoilt for choice with an abundance of walks catering for all levels of ability. The... More

We went up in the pouring rain, the road is narrow and windy. When we got to the top it was pouring rain. We went on the treetop walk and climbed the ladder, would have been amazing on a sunny or even cloudy day. It wasn't that enjoyable when you were soaked. Tried to dry out in the gift shop/cafe.... We drove up from Surfer's Paradise. Its a winding road up the mountain but worth it for the scenic views. There is a nice restaurant and gift shop. We enjoyed the shorter circular walk and saw lots of wildlife (birds especially) at close quarters. We also did the tree top walk which was good fun. A nice place to spend... More

The road to this area is windy with lots of one way sections and my husband quite enjoyed the drive. We did the tree canopy walk and it was so interesting to see the strangler figs, the birds, butterflies and the different vegetation. The walkways were fun and there are lots of benches if you need a rest. We enjoyed... More

Walk wherever you are allowed and take in the scenery, wildlife and peace. We came up here as an excuse to do some 4WDriving and ended up enjoying the tree top walk (with bonus ladder) the garden as well as the Moran Falls walk. All highly recommended.

What an amazing place. We just went as a day trip but would love to stay overnight and be able to go for an early morning guided tour to see the wonderful birds, and try some of the longer walks that start from there. Having said that we did quite well spotting a good few birds and lizards on the... More

Experience Oz gave us a really good day tour, Barry , our driver made the day perfect. We saw Alpacas, O'Reillys Mountain (which was made more interesting by the background story from our guide) then on to Mt Tambourine and Lunch at the Winery. Suitable for all ages with good shorter walks.

There is quite a lot to see and do up here. There is a treetop walk which is a lot of fun. There is a rainforest walk, and you can walk for hour or just a short circular walk too. There are wonderful views across the forests into the distance.

Unfortunately, me and my colleague only had an afternoon, night and a morning to spend here. This is absolutely amazing. Best thing to do is to wake up early and go out for a good hike to see birds and mammals up close. Absolutely amazing place. Every decent biologists should once go here and enjoy the rainforest. If I have... More
