It was one of the best experience I had so far in the island! One of the most interesting museums you will ever visit! The scenes and everything was amazing and the staff was so helpful that you didn’t feel insecure at all they are there to guide you the whole time! I definitely recommend an experience for everyone!!!

We liked this museum very much for being interactive. They give information in a “short and sweet” manner. Interesting to visit and play around even for adults! 5D cinema is very well executed! But be ready to get a bit wet ;)
I believe that visiting this museum could be a cool experience for children (definitely they won’t be bored 😃).
The staff is very friendly and helpful there. They guide people very well during visiting and help people to feel comfortable not gathering in a queue in front of installations.
The price for the museum is affordable. I could say that it can be a little bit too high as the museum itself is not very big, but I didn’t regret any penny as everything inside is so well implemented! We got a really very good impression from visiting and new knowledge for sure! Definitely worth to visit it.

Tips:
To escape crowds come to the opening hours.
You can count that you won’t spend more than 45min-1h there ( without children).
You can get 10% discount ( you can find promo code on the official bus website).

Very over-rated, somewhat cheesy, and overpriced for the caliber of content. I would NOT recommend this €24 "Atlantis experience" unless you have a 7--year-old child who is interested in Atlantis.

Every pioneering concept is destined to attract a mix of both supporters and skeptics. Our goal is to enchant our visitors on an enthralling voyage through time, delving into the history, mythology, philosophy, and geology of Santorini and Greece through the captivating lens of this ancient myth. We have a deep passion for our venture and remain dedicated to enhancing the content and the overall experience year after year. We regret that, during your hour-long exploration of our museum, you did not find something engaging for someone older than 7 years old. Additionally, we apologize if you felt the museum didn't live up to your expectations primarily due to the ticket price. Thank you for selecting our museum for your visit, and we hope the remainder of your time on the island is delightful.

Interesting but very small. The experience is over in under an hour. Felt as if it was ready to be something great but fell short. I would bypass this and do something else.

This isn't worth the time. Go to the pool instead.

The 9d experience is a pretty lame gimick, along with a tiny "the floor is lava" game, and an xbox360 photo booth.

The museum itself provides an incredibly shallow review of the information.

Basically the only point they make is that Plato's description of Atlantis matches that of the island before the 1600bc eruption.

They provided little information about what we legends and myth say about atlantis, provide nothing more about Plato's writings of it than saying they exist, there was almost no connection provided to the archeological site at Akrotiri, etc.

You can learn more on Wikipedia for five minutes than in this place.

Dear visitor, unfortunately today all the information can be found on Wikipedia and AI software ChatGPT can answer all your questions. That does not mean museums are useless! The goal is to use experience and innovative technology to engage our visitors with the History, Mythology, Geology and Philosophy of the island and Greece. To light up the fire of curiosity and after that each visitor can search deeper into the theme of Atlantis, Philosophy, and ancient Greece. We wonder if you truly took the time to focus on the exhibits, since there are numerous references at Akrotiri and the Minoan Civilization at several exhibits and in the 9D Experience. The existence on the island of the priceless archeological site of Akrotiri is a main part of the theory!

Small but perfectly formed for an hour or so out of the heat.
Loved the 9d experience. Great way to understand how Santorini was formed

Very hypothetical and no facts related to the theory. Price is high for so less. Technology is interesting.

When we started with the idea of the museum, we had in mind the believers of various Atlantis theories. Lost Atlantis is a myth because there are no facts to prove otherwise. Main purpose of our museum is not convincing our visitors that Santorini is Atlantis. We are not convinced either! Our goal is to engage the visitor on a journey through time for the history, mythology, philosophy and geology of Santorini and Greece through this inspiring myth. Thank you for your kind words about our innovative technology.

Was disappointed at this museum had high reviews. It was interesting but not worth €14 which would add up as a family. The Thira museums and archaeological site were better value.

Dear Jane, we agree totally with you that Thira Museum and the archaeological site are an ideal site to visit. Our main goal is to augment the historical value of the island. We are a private museum with a vision for the use of innovative technologies as exhibits and the element of experience is the chase of knowledge. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations mostly due to the ticket price and we hope you enjoy the rest of your vacations on the island.
