An easy, less than a mile, path in the Koutsounari forest will take you to the 2nd larger waterfall of Crete . I beleive late May / early June is the best season to visit

It is about a 3km walk to the waterfall must take water and hat And good shoe. The waterfall is not very large but the water is very cold and clear drinkable.

the walk was nice but better do it in the morning it was a little hot and when we got to the waterfall there weren't a lot of water' it was still refreshing and nice

The walk to the waterfall is through some pretty spectacular scenery. It's a relatively easy walk, but make sure you have good solid footwear, plenty of water and head wear.
