We visited the store a month ago. I went there many times during my previous stay in Crete in 2007, and I couldn't wait to go back to my favorite gift/antique shop in Crete. Real nice, helpful staff and tons of unusual items you can't find anywhere else (unlike so many other boring gift shops offering pretty much the same things). This time I bought a beautiful wooden box and a bottle of aged Tsikoudia coming from a family distillery in Hania, as the owner explained. Now the two souvenirs joined the collection of liquor boxes on my kitchen wall. Probably the best item on that wall!

This is an Aladdin's Cave which is packed with almost every imaginable type of souvenir or holiday mementos.
It is situated on a side road, off the seafront, heading towards the town.
Even the large porch outside the store is crammed with racks and shelves full of items. However there is just about enough room for the 2 old dogs to sit out the front.
To the side of the porch the is an area with arcade games. There is also an ATM out the front.

It's a perfect gift shop for everybody. You Canon find there some traditional food and souvenirs and more necessary stuff. The shop itself looks like a museum. And the shopkeepers were very very friendly.
