My recent visit to Vourvourou was nothing short of a perfect 10/10 experience. From the moment I stepped foot into this enchanting place, I was captivated by its charm and beauty.
I was there from July 28th till August 7th. This place is perfect for a family trip or an older couple looking to relax. There are a lot of great restaurants but my personal fav was Bokeh.
If you are thinking about visiting the Blue Lagoon with boat, definitely do it. The prices range from 100 to 120 euro to rent a boat and you pay for your fuel at the end of the trip. The staff is really nice and they'll give you a lecture if you are not experienced in boats. Make sure to visit all the crystal clear beaches, Lagonisi being my personal favourite.
We personally didn't go on a cruise ship but there are a lot of them so if you want to feel like a pirate definitely do it.

The markets are all cheap and offer variety of things to choose from.

It is a wonderful place, with all the enchanting beauty that the Aegean coast has to offer. Fine sandy beaches, pristine blue water, tasteful beach bars

Totally worth visiting. Rent a boat (average price 100eu+fuel) and view all the lagoons and islands. Such a blue water like in Maldives with white sand. Very and very beautiful place!

had a great day zooming around the island offshore and the bays/lagoons. Rented from Black sheep - was a great boat (150cc) easy to get round the island in half a day with several swim stops.

When traveling to Sithonia you should consider Vourvourou as the first option to stay and renting a boat for at least one day is a must.

We had been to many places in Halkidiki, but so far Vourvouru is probably the quietest and most beautiful. The sea is turquoise and the beaches are warm and clean. Seaside is covered with forest and beautiful vegetation. This place is not overcrowded and people are not sitting on each others heads on the beach. You can rent a boat and enjoy neighboring island. This place is made for family holidays. Only minus is the wind, as it can be quite windy on whole stone. If you come here, you wont make a misstake.

Nice place but I had more expectations on the beach. Too many boats in the bay so you cannot swim in safe.

Although the parking was full, the bay was calm. There are several corners: 2 beaches, 1 bay. People of all ages, many locals too, go to vourvourou for a day out. Besides the water there is nothing to see. There is a foodtruck and a great restaurant (Melia), where you can also get take out.
Water is clean and clear. You can see meters deep.
Parking is free.

Negative: the bushes get used as public toilet.

Too dirty to take a dive. Too many boats approaching the coast and the water is not clean at all! Wouldn’t recommend anyone to swim here in the mid season. Send is wonderful however
