We think it should be. Nothing too showy with pleasant staff and FREE tasting! Reasonable prices and they stock local wine made from local vines too. A rarity really since they cannot be found in the supermarkets we looked at.

Not a winery, but a place where their Madeira wines are stored and aged in oak barrels.
They started making wine in 1850. The staff was very help and knowledgeable in answering questions and explaining there wines. You get 3 free, very good tastes.
Henriques & Henriques is probably the best producer of Fortified Madeira Wine, with excellent wines, some of which earned very important prizes.
