We recently bought a holiday property in the area as we love the place. Ideal location for beaches bars and restaurants while retaining a laid back friendly feeling recommend it to anyone.

Praia Maria Luisa is my favorite one. Spectacular view from the cliffs to the ocean. Torre has many houses and aparthments for rent. This is the place I love.

We have a holiday home here have had it for 9 years now we love it lovely people has everything you need shops, bars and restaurants

Avoid the crowds but still have on-beach restaurant facilities. Not a huge beach but more accessible than many along the Algarve coast. Some water sports, especially in high season.
