Walking the seashore from Villamoura back to Balalia was sheer heaven. Although you have to time this walk with the tide it's well worth the effort . The cliffs are spectacular with some amazing wooden stairways to the top of the cliffs . Pebbles ,sea shells ,soft sand and a beautiful bar at the end makes for a wonder day... More

Beautiful beach that goes for miles. Take a walk along the beach to villamoura and enjoy a drink by the marina.

West of Albufeira only Falesia Beach is without concrete blocks. Here you find a marvelous reef panorama for hiking, swimming, biking, windsurfing, boating.Recommended Alfamar Beach & Sport Resort direct at the steep slope coast.

Falesia beach is one of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches. It keeps its natural touch, with sparkling clear warm water, and a beatiful view of the coast all along the whole beach. The beach has enough lifeguards to make us feel safe enough to take our kids, and now and then we can see and hear the icecream and cream... More

This beach is worth visiting. Great for a stroll along the never ending stretch of sand. Nice views from the cliffs over looking the beach but be careful as it does look like the cliffs are retreating and little landslide appear to be happening regularly.

Given 4 rather than 5 as when I visited in March 4.5 yrs ago and Nov 2016 it was out of season - so bars and toilets closed and no sunloungers - which wasn't a problem as I love to walk!
