    Beautiful & relaxing
Loved this little resort. A stunning beach, close to all shops/restaurants with golden sand, blue sea right there, just gorgeous! Lots of choice of restaurants with friendly staff but not too busy. A small resort with everything you need to dine out and relax. Plenty of shops too. Not far from the airport and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend for a family holiday.

    Lovely beach
This is an excellent beach with toilets, shops and restaurants close by. Reserve your sun beds beforehand to save disappointment. You can find the very friendly lady who will take your name for the following day. Front line is susceptible to the tide so the further back you go the better.

    Pretty little beach
Lovely little beach. Plenty of loungers with an umbrella or sail shade. 2 x loungers and shade €10 until 1.30 or all day for €20. Lots of space to put your beach mat and own sun shade down too. Several nice cafes and bars nearby for lunch or drinks.

Olheiros de Água Doce is actually the name given to the freshwater springs that bubble to the surface through the sand a
You can see them primarily in the two small coves sandwiched between Praia dos Olhos de Água and Praia do Barranco das Belharucas. Most of the reviews already posted on this listing are not for the springs but specifically about the two beaches Praia dos Olhos de Água and Praia do Barranco das Belharucas, both of which have their own Trip Advisor listings under beaches. The one with the beach huts is Praia dos Olhos de Água for example. The small cove that takes its name from the springs Olheiros de Água Doce is a small, sheltered cove which is accessed by a large black wooden staircase entered from the road just before the Tui Blue Falecia hotel. It is not the staircase shown on the photographs as this is the one for the Praia do Barranco das Belharucas next door which leads from the 3HB Falecia Garden and the Porto Bay Falecia hotels. This particular cove is a lovely, sheltered spot but with no facilities and no shade, so if intending to spend some time here make sure you bring what you need and especially a beach umbrella. The sea is lovely and it’s safe to swim here, but you will need to step over rocks to get in the sea here, unlike the two larger public beaches either side. The small sister cove next door is known as Praia dos Cruz as is equally as nice. You can climb and scramble over the separating rock cliff between the two, but it’s not straight forward, and Praia dos Cruz is probably better accessed from the Miradouro da Praia dos Olhos de Água, the lookout point at the eastern end of Praia dos Olhos de Água. You have probably gathered it by now anyway, but just to confirm, neither of these two small coves are suitable for those with mobility issues. For wheelchair users Praia dos Olhos de Água is probably the best, but there are still issues with this one.

Its not a must see in the Algarve, but we were staying nearby so stopped by.

There's a square and small promenade by the sea with a handful of places to eat. The immediate beachside area is the most attractive - things get less appealing at the resort as you head up the road away from the beach.

The beach itself is nice, calmer water than nearby Falesia. There was a bit of a collection of stagnant, murky water that seemed to come from a discharge pipe though, so watch for that.

At the eastern end of the beachside promenade there is a viewpoint over town which is nice, you can also see smaller unspolit coves as well as Falesia beach the other way, which you can reach via walking paths.

This is the main beach for the resort of Olhos de Água, but it is frequently overshadowed by the large expanse of sand next door to the East that runs unencumbered all the way to Vilamoura. However we liked the feel of this one and enjoyed walking it and using the bars and restaurants of the pedestrianised area that runs from the roundabout down to the beach.
It has the feeling of being a large cove as it is hemmed in by cliff faces at both ends. At high tide, only the sand section in front of the main pedestrianised area that leads to the beach is available, but when the tide goes out and additional sand section the other side of the rocky headland on which the restaurant La Cigale sits becomes available with its own beach bar and cafe, namely O’Passaro Azul.
The main section has sunbeds and umbrellas to rent for the day and swilling is safe from both sections of the beach.
The main section can get quite busy, so if you want a bit more quiet, probably better to wait for the tide to go out, when the additional section is available as we always found this noticeably quieter.

This beach was great and the sea was warmer than the Portobays hotel pool. We really enjoyed our time here.

The area needs tidying up a little.
Nice beach with nice views and clean public toilets and baby changing facilities.
Not sure why all the supermarket shops shut by 9pm.
Also very bad sewage smell there in the evening..
It needs some atmosphere, very boring.

Absolutely beautiful beach with walks and restaurants. Lovely place to relax, very calm here. We walked from our hotel and it was hidden a bit.

Definitely recommend a trip here.
