The Jameos del Agua was the Centre of Art, Culture and Tourism to be created by César Manrique and reflects one of the cornerstones of his creative work: harmony between nature and artistic creation. The Jameos del Agua are located inside the volcanic tunnel created by the eruption of La Corona Volcano, one of the longest in the world, at 6 kilometres in length.

My husband & I visited the caves on our recent trip to Lanzarote. The day was a little overcast but it didn't spoil the spectacle of the caves. I could imagine however on a sunny day the caves looking even more spectacular. I think it was 9 euros each to enter & we were there for about 2 hours. There's... More

Worth seeing after you have done the Cueva de los Verdes tour as this is other end of the lava caves. A large car park then a fairly steep walk down steps to a short walk through the cave and then up the other side past another blue water pool and a concert hall. We found it well worth while... Ok lunch place after visiting the cave. Entrance fee not worth it if you are only there for the food. If you are in to nature it is definitely worth a visit to see the blind albino crabs (Munidopsis polymorpha). It's a shame that people are more interested in dipping the hands in the lake than amaze over the uniqueness... More

Hired a car to see the sights, this was a highlight, lovely and calming but could imagine a bond villian living here says my 14 year old son. Very impressive, loved the a,binoculars crabs and the film clips in the auditorium, would love to visit when they had a concert. Definitely recommend

Unique place, fantastic design by Cesar Manrique, using massive underground lava channels. Could be from a Bond film.

Visited here with First Minute Travel on the tour of the North. The lava tunnel with the white crabs was really great to see. The swimming pool designed by Cesar Manrique is really pretty and the auditorium was great, this was our favourite part. They also have a small museum giving you information which was also interesting. They have lots... More

We drove up from Playa Blanca (1hour). This location provided many interesting features. The cave with their albino crabs was a good start and followed up by the beautiful gardens and pool that looked very inviting. There is also an impressive auditorium that must provide an excellent venue for whatever shows are performed. The museum dedicated to the geology of... More

Beforehand i thought this was just a tunnel containing a pool and white crabs. What a surprise awaits when you pass this and climb the path on the other side. The pictures cannot do it justice, you have to be there to appreciate it all.
