Open daily from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m., mondays closed, free entrance! Great to see the old techniques (roman origin) restored in this bathing house, that was abandoned since the 1970s.

The guard at the Ioustiniani Museum in the Kastro told me about the Turksih bath, the hamam, and its location in the Kastro. It is not labelled on my city map from a tourist office in town. I arrived at the hamam and the gate...More

Very good restoration of the place. Too bad that is not operating as Hamam but as Museum. There are some performances ( music) at the grounds.

A walk in the Castle of Chios through its narrow roads will guide you to the northern part where these old Ottoman baths really surprise visitors. Their restoration began in 2007 and five years later were given to the public again. Written sources mention their...More

It's a free entrance, so if you"re around, it's worth poping in. It's just a few minuts visit. The hamam is partialy restored, to let you visualize the original form, and that's about it. Near by, among the houses, you can get on top of...More

We arrive there at 10:30 am but the door closed. A man randomly passed by and told us he will open the door for us... Small but interesting. It's free. Worth visiting since not so many spots in Chois town to see.
