We saw elephants swimming, lionesses lazing in the sun, monkeys, and massive herds of buffalo. Just beautiful!

Whether you take a day trip or overnight in the popular accomodation within the reserve, this game park has much to offer. Host to the big five, wonderful birdlife and some of the most beautiful landscapes, Hluhluwe-iMfolozi remains a popular choice to get back to...More

I last reviewed H-i two and a half years ago. Regarding the park and the wildlife, this part of the experience is still five-star. It is, simply, a beautiful part of Africa. You can't rate a park on the viewings- these change with the seasons,...More

another outstanding visit with close sightings of a herd of elephants, rhino, and an abundance of buffalos, giraffes, zebras, baboons, impala, and many other varieties of deer, wildebeast, and birds. Always amazing. Hope it stays that way. We stayed at hiltop-rondavels. Very pleasant experience.

Recent stay in Hilltop Camp after many years. Was booked to stay 2 nights, left after one because of the horrendous state of the dirt roads. Why are they not regularly graded? (And we were in a 4x4). The 'good' is the amazing housekeeper Khombi,...More

Breathtaking scenery in this large expanse of bush. Well signposted so self drive game drive is easy. Wonderful to see wild animals, best first thing in the morning when cool. Hilltop provides a fabulous place to have lunch and see for miles across the reserve.

terrible roads. poor maps and signage. very poor sightings mostly ruined with to many staff speeding all over park pushing you out of the way. worst experience ever in a national park. I will never ever return.
