Visited this little house as it was a stop on the Island Tour. Entry fee was only 1€. The house looks tiny from the outside but quite spacious inside with lots of interesting things to see. Definately worth a visit.
Here you get a close look at how a better-off family in Central Kos lived a couple of generations ago.
Looks tiny outside - but somewhat bigger whe you come inside. You just really get a feeling of going back in time entering this house....More

Antimachia is near the airport, a small lovely village, I like it, its on the middle of the island; The "Antimachiotiko Spiti" is a traditional village home an i Ifeel the architecture of the oldest folk and her live. Very nice.
We found this little museum by accident, it's beside the Antimachia windmill so it's convenient too. The house looks tiny from the outside but is deceptively large inside. Great examples of furnishings and simple rooms with photos of various families.
It's also refreshingly cool.
The atmosphere was so good in the cottage it felt peaceful and it was so interesting to see how people lived and worked. The sleeping area looked so comfortable and the family photographs are such a nice touch a wonderful museum.
