We only had one week at Lamai and luckily were here for the Sunday night "Walking Street" as they call, having had to curtail our visit at the Train market in Bangkok a couple of nights earlier we went to this one ready for an event and found one. Cocktails on the street nearest to the beach side of the... More

I think the largest in Koh Samui. It had a long food street, with many drink stall that you can sit down, order a drink (expected to) and enjoy the food that you have bought along the way. A good range of others too, but they are much the same of what you can get from other market or shops.

this is the 1st market we ate street food and didn't;t get sick, we also watched for food to be cooked before buying, maybe that is the secret, well priced, great variety, clean, recycling happening which is so good to see. Just so you know the tuk tuk or curb side rides are not cheap, to go to Chaweng from... More

Sunday night market not to be missed, very very busy, lots of stalls selling all manner of things but the best bit for me is the food stalls, freshly cooked, tasty and what a price, just go and enjoy.

We came to the nightmarket having read the reviews and a friend told us it was good. It's a mixed market in the main streets of lamai. We got here early about 5.30 and it was already busy. Parking is pretty challenging so suggest you get here as early as you can. There's lots to try and see, from clothes... More

At first I thought, meh, how exciting could markets be? But these had so much to see, lots of shopping, amazing food and cheap cocktails. We even tried crickets and silkworms. Don't miss these if you're in Lamai!

The Lamai night markets are held on sundays starting at 5pm! They are great. You can spend around 2-4 hours just walking around, shopping and trying all there amazing clean street food! If your adventourous then try a cricket.... they are massive, pan fried crickets. Is a very common local food. We tried them and they were..... interesting. Lots of... More

This is the best night market in Samui that I've experienced so far! Large, varied and great atmosphere with lots of bars and restaurants on each side of the street in addition to all the street food drinks and "shops"! I definitely recommend
