Coco Splash or “Tropic” as it is now named has always been one of our go-to places on Samui. For whatever reason though (a lot was lost in translation) the majority of the waterpark has been demolished leaving only 2 dilapidated slides....the Big Banana and the Twister. While there are indications that both have been somewhat maintained the concrete slide surfaces are now rough and cause injury to riders and significant wear on clothing. The waterpark as a stand-alone venue now no longer exists and is more of an adjunct to a bar / restaurant with prices for both food and drinks at about double that to other nearby eateries catering to tourists. The offering of 2 slides for the kids to enjoy while parents enjoy a relaxing meal & refreshments may seem appealing and may justify this pricing however the need to constantly supervise young children at this venue removes any possibility of enjoying a relaxing meal. I don’t know why the majority of the waterpark was demolished or what future plans are in place however in its current form this waterparks days are numbered. While there are no signs erected to advise of prices (other than food and drink) I can advise that entry is free....we’ll sort of....entry is free on condition of eating and drinking in the restaurant. We attended for a very short time and left due to the condition of the slides and were promptly told to pay 1,400 Baht (350 Baht each) for the experience as we had not spent enough in the time we were there!! After a few heated words (nothing lost in the translation this time!) we paid a nominal fee for waterpark access only. A subsequent review of the website indicated that for 1,400 Baht we would have been entitled to a package including food, drink, “waterpark” access and a t-shirt each for the kids.....none of this was offered at the point of departure; it would however have made for a well priced package. My advice to travellers is that this is now just a restaurant with 2 ageing water slides. 2 Stars only. 2 years ago I would have given this place 4, maybe even 5 stars, based on value for money and enjoyment for the whole family.....not now though! As a final note, during the attempted extortion as we were leaving the manager demanded we spend more to cover waterpark use....in an attempt to appease him I reluctantly agreed only to have him produce a “new” menu with greatly increased pricing! That’s an old Bangkok trick from way back!!!!.....it was about this point that the amicable discussion turned sour😡!

We visited this water park every time we come to Koh Samui and have previously never been disappointed. This year as usual we headed to the Water Park only to be greatly disappointed that over half the water park and slides have been demolished. The park has only 2 slides now and neither are suitable for young children. All of the amazing slides, buckets and great features are gone. In defence the park is now free to visit and you only pay for food and drinks and the remaining limited features are free. In the Samui heat the only things that we where after where water related so the other non water related things didnt entice us. The biggest disappointment came from the fact the web page and street signage shows the old park which is why we went there only to be disappointed upon arrival. The owner is still lovely and what is there looks nice but i cant help feel disappointed that what was there previously was awesome and the changes are not for the better. As a miminum the web page and signage should be updated to reflect the current offer.

A lovely thought out adventure area and swimming park, including both slides and fun for toddlers and older children. Servers water slides ranging from slow to quick and steep, means everyone can get in on the fun. A lovely presented restaurant with variety of thai and western dishes, the burgers are very good ! Well priced entry fees and discount for residents of Samui, just take along your work permit if you are a foreign resident and you get a discount admission. Will definitely visit again
