It is the most impressive church of the island, due to its position. Great view, when you make it there!

I was on a boat tour from Skiathos to Skopolos Town and Alonnisos. Unfortunately it rained throughout my 2 hrs in Skopolos Town, nevertheless we had a guided tour to the Panagitsa and through many lanes and we passed many other churches. Disapointingly none of the churches were open. The climb to the Panagista from the end of the harbour involved well over 100 steps, but the views made the climb worthwhile.

It’s not for the unfit but it’s a very beautiful church in a beautiful town. Recommend if you ever come to the Sporades. Lovely church and amazing history!

We went at my niece's wedding, the church was very small, the view was great of the harbor, almost everyone was outside the ceremony...they should have put an air condition incide, 2 of us were fainted. The take so much money to do the ceremony...

A small church in the harbour of Skopelos. You get there by steps from the harbour with view of the insailing for the port of Skopelos.

Beautiful building leading up to the church, nice view. That's about it. Church itself is easy to miss. No signs giving any clues.
Note: the placement of the church is wrong here in Tripadvisor. It is a little further north, near the ferries.

Iconic Greek Orthodox church overlooking Skopelos harbour, very photogenic, quite few steps to get up to it from the seaward end of the harbour
