Located on the outskirts of McGregor Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary is worth a visit. Lovely farm restaurant for a breakfast or light lunch followed with a tour of the rescued donkeys

What a wonderful place. After a delicious lunch of generous homemade chicken pie up at the restaurant we were taken down to the field where we met the donkeys. Pure bliss.

Not far from McGregor, this sanctuary is great for a stop kids and family. I found it very informative and the tour was quite interesting. Kids will certainly enjoy the interaction.

Such a wonderful place and people with kind hearts doing a super job caring for these lovable animals, and you get to walk among them with a guide.
