The right spot to see sunset while drinking turkish coffe or mint tea. The museum is a must see in Djerba.

Very interesting and should be visited by anyone who goes to Djerba. People who are travelling not should only be interested in beaches but should also be aware of the culture of the local people.

When it comes to museums in small towns in out-of-the-way places, my usual strategy is simple: avoid at all costs. I can live without the dry and dusty exhibits, poorly labelled. So when our guide said we had a full hour here, well... my heart sank. But this museum is ten thousand times better than all those other ones put... More

This museum is in a lovely old building that seems to go on forever. Very clean and well organized with diorama like depictions of various traditions and cultural events related to the people of Djerba Island. The only downside was the camel used to demonstrate preparation of cereal grains. He was not happy at all. But at least they no... More

As there is no seaside or night life on the coast (being a Moslem country) just miles and miles and MILES of empty beach......nice little museum with interesting ethnic stuff inside and a tomb outside of someone who had mental health problems (?) it's also next door to a Crusader fort right strategically built on the sea's edge. And discovered... More

Very well organised - rooms are numbered and all exhibits are described in several languages. Good insight into the history and traditions of Djerba

We went here on an afternoon and yeah I guess you can say we found out a few interesting things about the djerban culture, but it was quite dry and really nothing special. The heritage museum at Djerba explore has way more to offer!
