The beach was right opposite our apartment and easy to walk to, if a bit steep. It is a very safe beach and the water very shallow so ideal for families. There are plenty of sunbeds and a couple of tavernas.

We loved spending most of a day on this beach. Our children enjoyed jumping off the jetty and snorkelling round it. Beautiful. Lovely tavernas for lunch or drinks as well. We drove and did not find the roads too steep for our hire car (I...More

We are visiting this beach everytime when visiting Corfu island. Very comfortable for children! Don't expect many services. Bar from Nicholas taverna serves nice drafted beer and they also like children and provide sun beds and umbrellas. The middle beach service is kind of scam...More

We went to check out Kalamaki beach before visiting with our grandson. The main attraction is that the beach is sandy (unlike so many beaches in this part of Corfu) and it’s shallow for a long way out so toddlers can safely paddle. It’s not...More

Yes there is a road directly to the beach wide enough. I think you can park next to obe of the tavernas, not sure how many places there are though
