Whale watching from Dalvik close to Akureyri north Iceland with Arctic Sea Tours is adventure on sea. Great sighting success and five stars on TripAdvisor. Whale watching takes place in the picturesque landscape of Eyjafjordur and fishing inside the majestic mountains of Trollaskagi just short off the Arctic Circle. Whale watching is an activity you should not miss out on! In Dalvik you have an exceptionally good chance to encounter the great humpback whale and often we spot white-beaked dolphins, minke whales, the small harbor porpoises and sometimes even the majestic blue whale. Overall we have seen whales or dolphins in 98% of our whale watching tours. The whale watching tour is built up as an adventure. So with an excellent chance of seeing whales you can also expect more fun with fishing and tasting of the freshly caught cod, haddock, pollock or atlantic catfish. Wonderful tour with informative commentary. We saw a pod of 5 humpback whales breaching at once. Our group caught 20 haddock and cod after 15min fishing. When we finished the tour the fish were barbecued in garlic butter.

Did a tour on a fishing boat. Saw lots of humpback whales! And only one other boat in the bay. Very friendly staff and well organised tour. Freshly caught cod on the BBQ upon our return.
