Went to zivania museum, was closed but when we see on the door the timetable of the museum has to be open. We call at the number on timetable and the man who answer told us that he will come in 30 minutes.( because he...More
Vasa is a small hill village just off the road up to Omodos which doubtfully attracts many visitors. The Zivania museum is a short walk from the town centre but was closed when it should have been open when we got there. Perhaps the most...More
Visit on a Sunday lunchtime with friends after visiting a number of wine making villages in the area. I can say Vasa is an unspoiled village with very picturesque streets, a good selection of traditional tavernas, and an excellent wine from Papaioannou winery

Nothing spectacular about Vasa. Compared with say Lofou or Omodos, it hasn't much to offer. The Zivania museum is nothing to write home about. They didn't even have any zivania for sale, let alone for tasting. Their red wine is not for drinking.

Amazing escape from every one an everything. Quiet colourful surrounding makes you to believe you came to a fairytale. Great village taverns, hospitable people, breathtaking views. Highly recommended for couples for a romantic getaway
