What a beautiful garden Mr Hunte has created, We were the only two people there when we arrived Mr Hunte suggested we spend forty minutes having a look around before popping up to the house to see him, by the time we got to the house several other visitors had arrived, most of whom seemed to be returning visitors!!! Please don't miss this place. It's breathtaking. Just sit awhile on any of the many seats around the garden. Have a look for the statues - some may not be immediately obvious. I

Visited Huntes gardens whilst on a trip with Ramblers Holidays - this is not a place that I would have been able to get to easily if I had been on my own (relying on public transport would have made it difficult or impossible to visit) The owner Anthony Hunte took us round and is very enthusiastic and spends a... Most sign-posted attraction on the island. No excuse for not visiting this fantastic creation. Wonderful way to spend 2-3 hours. Anthony Hunte is a very good host and his rum punch is probably the best we had on our holiday.

We had not been back to Anthony Hunte's fantastic gardens since our wedding in 2010. Even more planting has taken place since then to make this the number 1 garden in Barbados

The gardens were enchanting with lots of seating to sit and watch the huming birds and the tropicflowers. Anthony Hunte greets... More

These gardens are exquisite and well worth a visit. Meandering paths lead you through the tropical plants to different viewpoints where you can sit and contemplate the setting. We were lucky enough to see many hummingbirds, some newly fledged, and a tiny hummingbird nest. The visit ended with tea and cake in the house being entertained by the slightly eccentric... More

A superb well-stocked garden in a sinkhole. The abundant planting contrasts with other gardens in Barbados and there is interest at every turn. Anthony Hunte is friendly and passionate about gardening and we received a warm welcome. Mike & Beata
