Everyone on the island seems to head to Oistins on Fridays. There are plenty of food stalls with a live DJ playing the whole night. It's a good party, and the atmosphere is electric. Be sure to visit on a Friday!

Great atmosphere, fun and food. Ate some dolphin and drank beers with some friends. Safe atmosphere with cops all around.

#1 thing to do on a Friday night in Barbados 🇧🇧 Live music and performances Don‘t take a „official“ taxi - take the Reggae Bus (Minivan). It is much cheaper and much more fun

Missed out going on our first Friday due to flight delay but went down on the Saturday to check it out, fantastic customer service from Joy @ Uncle Georges and great food. Back again on the Friday where it was absolutely buzzing, great atmosphere but...More

Absolutely a MUST DO while visiting Barbados! Very safe and friendly atmosphere, the food as amazing! Make sure to check out the legendary fish cakes! My husband and I agreed they were better than the flying fish in our opinion. Plenty of rum shops serving...More

Awesome food and vibe. We ate at Annie's. The fried snapper was awesome. Nothing beats being in the Caribbean and having fresh seafood.

Disgusting place, dirty and out of control. Should never have eaten there as I ended up sick (I won’t share details here, but it has been awful!) Made for a difficult travel home. Total tourist trap, not worth the food poisoning. So many beautiful things...More

I worked in Barbados and this festival is called Crop over. It’s more people getting dressed in authentic clothing. Friday night fish fry is weekly as all the fisherman sell their fresh catch

I doubt it, if anything most small places in the island will be shut down. your best bet is big resorts and restaurants.
