Our guide, Hassan, was fantastic (and multilingual). With his wealth of insider knowledge regarding both the history of the city and its best-kept secrets, we explored the city walls and the souks, starting out with a caleche ride and ending right at our hotel's doorstep. We highly recommend Thami Trip.

Taroudant has a lot to offer, however we couldn't see half of it without Thami. He literally spent the day with us and make our visit worth it 100%. I felt so relaxed, happy and trusted him in all places we went... It was magical and I am wishing him my best wishes as a guide, as he really truly is an angel will guide you in around the zouks, argan co-operative, Moroccan restaurants, shops, the wall of the ancient city, I just want to remember all the good words I learnt today from him. He is a happy, knowledge and trusted person to have around Taroudant and I am feeling so privileged to cross our paths and met him. He find us accommodation, give us tastes of bread and dates and tagine and so many things... And we visited so many things without having any pressure to buy anything and responding all curious questions we had. I truly feel now I have a friend in Morocco to trust and come back again for more in the desert. I wish I will have a berber experience from him as he is truly original form berbers descendents and it is so magical we found this man with really good English and nice heart to make your experience unforgettable 🌸🤗☀️🙏 Salam sucra Thami

Thami’s bike tour is one of the best experiences we’ve had so far from our two weeks in Morocco. He is patient, knowledgeable, and fluent in English. He cracked jokes, showed us interesting corners of the city, took tons of pictures (hooray for a picture of our trip that isn’t a selfie), and has crafted a careful itinerary that covers markets, natural landscapes, and historical sites. Truly hospitable and welcoming. Unmissable if you’re in the area.

Thami was an excellent English speaking guide of the Taroudant area. It was my first visit and he took me to incredible authentic areas like the old Jewish quarters that I wouldn’t have found on my own. We sampled traditional food in the souks and ended at a wonderful local restaurant called Cafe Roma. I would highly recommend Thami for any expedition he offers in Morocco. I will definitely use his guide service again.

This is the guide you want. Taroudant is an amazing place, but the winding paths through the market and old city would've been challenging without Thami. His pride in the community comes through clearly, and he seems to know everyone in the city. Thami paced our tour perfectly for our three young kids, and we always felt comfortable and welcome in this very different and special place.

Thami was one of the best guides we have ever had. We are frequent visitors to Morocco and a high bar had already been set, but he excelled previous guides. He picked us up promptly at our hotel and we toured the city in a horse drawn carriage accompanied by his excellent commentary. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and its fortified wall and showed us many fascinating things. Everything was closed for Eid but he was able to get a renowned silversmith to open and show us his beautiful Berber jewellery. There was no pressure to buy, but I couldn’t resist some earrings and a bracelet which I will treasure always. We also went to a Womens Argan oil collective which was very interesting and helps Moroccan women in need to earn a living.Afterwards there was the Jewish quarter and an amazing house of the former Rabbi which is now an arts collective. He also reserved dinners for us in 2 fantastic restaurants (one an old Olive mill) and took us there by horse and carriage and back. He totally enhanced and made our visit to this beautiful city such a success. Thanks so much Thami!

We had a wonderful tour around Taroudant with Thami. His knowledge of the city and its history is excellent. We did very extensive tours of the souks, as well as historic sites and the old city walls. We also rode in a caleche (horse drawn carriage) to view much of the city. Thami is delightful and it was a very enjoyable and informative few hours with him.

We showed up to Taroudant without a plan and we ran into Thami who offered to show us around the city and souk. We are thankful we did as he showed us some beautiful and historical sights that we would have no doubt overlooked on our own and helped navigate us around the souk. Thami was kind and patient and we felt very comfortable walking around the city with him, never felt pressured from him to buy things. Thank you for the wonderful tour!

We parked the car and didn’t know the city at all and instantly we trusted Thami who showed us where to go and what to see. He is so proud of his city and seems to know everything. He speaks 5 languages which was useful. We trusted him immediately and it appears many others do from his trip advisor reviews. Sweet man ! Highly recommend going to the Berber market with him also.

An essential character, he knows everything, and has solutions for everything, from hiking in the mountains, visiting the city, palm groves, desert, parachute jumping, organizing evenings...
I have been coming to the area several times, he is the first guide to have made me discover things that no one shows so well about the landscapes, the interior of the city, the history….
