This was a pain to get to because of the road works for miles either side of the farm gate. But was it worth it when you got there. I live in country Australia, and have my own version of working dogs, so its always...More

It is truly amazing to see how one of the few remaining sheperds works with his dogs and sheep. During the all too brief 45 minute demonstration, he talks about how he has trained his dogs to respond to his voice and whistles with his...More

If you love working dogs it is a must but even if you do not its a great experience. Neil is a great dog trainer and his dogs worship him and love it. We went as an optional on a Trafalgar tour and glad we...More

Neil, the shepherd who gives the tour, is a character and a half and it's worth coming here just to meet him. It's also worth coming here if you have kids, like dogs, want to immerse yourself in local culture, or simply enjoy something off...More

Loved our stop here--it was informal, fun, and inexpensive. We also learned valuable information about preserving this fading culture in Scotland.

We had visited the Leault Farm to see the sheepdog demonstration two years ago when we were in the area, and we decided to return to show our daughter because we had enjoyed it so much. We were staying in Kingussie, and thought we left...More

Visiting this farm for the sheepdog demo was on my bucket list for our recent trip to Scotland. We really enjoyed watching the sheepdogs obey silent and verbal commands to herd the sheep over considerable distances and found the shepherd's commentary + the Q&A after...More

This was a highlight of our recent trip to Scotland. About 40 miles south of Inverness this working sheep dog Farm is worth the drive. Check times and days that the dogs work before you go as it is out in the middle of no...More

This is by far one of the most interesting and informative things to go and see in the Highlands. Neil, the shepherd, provides an incredibly impressive demonstration of his working dogs in action while educating about some of the history of the estate and shepherding...More

This was a great show. The dogs are amazing, and it's unbelievable to see the level of understanding between the dogs and the shepherd. It looks as if they can read his mind, but in reality they react to his voice commands or/and different types...More

We were staying in Aviemore which is about 20 min away by car. There isn't much to in Kincraig where the farm is, but Aviemore has a few good restaurants and is a good base to tour the Highlands.
