This is an amazing place! I was in awe the whole time! I had so many questions!! The daughter of the man who created these caves walked me through on my own and explained the whole story to me... Loved every second! I also bought their homemade jams and syrups - had a sit down outside and spoke to the family a bit around their lives and how it was living there with a dad who only slept 3-4hrs a night and dug the rest of the day - 2000drams entrance

We phoned ahead to confirm that we would be visiting. We had to pay 1,500 dram each which was more than worth it. We had an Armenian guide with us as the families English was limited. It’s the most amazing and quaint place to visit and definitely worth it.

Amazing place that is worth a visit. I have not seen anything like it before. It is a bit hidden but you will not regret it.

I had heard this place was good, but it blew me away that it was so much more than I thought. I'd been to "underground" gardens/attractions before, but the incredible work this man put into his project was unbelievable (and it all started with a request for a potato storage room!). Definitely must see. The tour was conducted by one of Levon's daughters, and we met Levon's wife as well.

So extraordinary place! We knew what to expect and how it looks like, but the reality was even better. And to meet Levon's wife and daughter was really special. It was probably the best place which we visited during our stay in Yerevan (together with Mount Aragats).

This was such an amazing experience, with personal tour from the maker’s daughter. Cost is 1500dram each, but well worth it. Had to believe that one man created all these caves and underground rooms with just hand tools. This is definitely worth a visit, but a little tricky to find.

We found this little gem through general research on what to see in Yerevan, Armenia, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. You will be amazed at the depth of the tunnels and excavations made by hand by an eccentric who died some years ago. His wife and daughter show you round (the daughter managed Russian and a little English). The cost was 1500 dram each, but worth it as it is amazing, but also, it’s their livelihood! They were very friendly. We went from Yerevan by taxi (1200 dram to get there), but you can also catch the 47 bus (to Arinj) then find house number 9 on 5th street (the roads are all numbered clearly). The house is only identified by a fairly small sign on the door, and you have to knock as the bell doesn’t appear to work. Our taxi driver had never heard of it and came with us too! Well worth a visit.

My family and I had never heard about this place until a friend who lives in Armenia who has been showing us around told us about it, which, he himself had heard from someone else. It definitely was a mission locating the place, but with the help of the surrounding neighbors, we found it. We didn’t know what to expect, so when we got there, we were all very surprised. It was such an interesting experience and we would highly recommend it. It was especially special because Levon’s family was there to share it. If you call ahead of time, they will have translators there for you.

Всем добрый день! Скажите, а договориться о посещении пещеры можно по указанному телефону? На каком языке, кроме армянского, это можно сделать? И сколько примерно стоит вход (везде разная информация).
